Toriano Williams
Senior Pastor
Toriano Williams is the newly elected Pastor of Zion Hill #2 Missionary Baptist Church. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana Tech University and a Master of Arts degree from Louisiana College. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Christian Counseling at Louisiana Baptist University.
Pastor Williams began his teaching and coaching career in the early 2000s following his experience as a college and professional football player. He accepted his call to preach in 1989 at Cross of Christ Missionary Baptist Church. He is presently a member of Springfield Baptist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, under the pastorate of Dr. Jimmy R. Mahoney.
Pastor Williams is married to Dr. Teniesha Mahoney Williams. Together, they are the proud parents of five sons and one daughter, and the loving grandparents of two granddaughters, two grandsons, and one granddaughter on the way. In his leisure time, Pastor Williams enjoys traveling, exploring the arts, cooking, attending his sons’ college football games, and watching sporting events.
Dr. Teniesha M. Williams
First Lady
Dr. Teniesha Mahoney Williams serves as the Principal of Magnolia School of Excellence in Shreveport, Louisiana. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana Tech University, a Master of Arts degree from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, and a PhD in Christian School Administration from Louisiana Baptist University.
Dr. Mahoney Williams began her teaching career in 1998. After retiring from education in 2019, she returned to the field in 2021. Throughout her career, she has served in numerous roles, including classroom teacher, English Department Chair, content coach, administrative assistant, assistant principal, and principal. She has also presented on Instructional Coaching at various educational conferences.
In ministry, Dr. Mahoney Williams serves as a Sunday School teacher, Youth Director, and President of the Junior Mission Department. She also serves as a church musician and choir member. Currently, she is the Event Coordinator for the Senior Mission Department and the Executive Administrative Assistant to the Pastor. Additionally, she assists Pastor Anthony Kimble at New Covenant Missionary Baptist Church in Shreveport.
Dr. Mahoney Williams is married to Minister Toriano Williams. Together, they are the proud parents of six sons and two daughters, and grandparents to one granddaughter and one grandson. She enjoys traveling, reading, and attending her sons’ college athletic events.
Her ultimate goal is to serve as a Director of Christian Education and to establish a male-only Christian school that emphasizes character education and spiritual development.
